It\u2019s that time of the year again ladies, when it\u2019s starting to get warmer and the weather is changing in a beautiful way. I always love to give my hair extra love this time of the year because you can take advantage of the perfect weather and style your hair exactly how you\u2019d like it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Trim.<\/strong> The first thing I do to start my haircare transition is to get a trim, either at a salon or I do it myself at home. Because most of us have sported a series of protective hairstyles throughout the Winter months which may not require a lot of trimming, by now we know that our hair is desperately in need of a GOOD trim. I am often asked \u201cHow do you know what deep up the hair shaft should I trim?\u201d For me, I can tell that my hair needs trimming when it starts to thin out on the ends. The thin part that sticks out once you braid or two-strand twist your hair is the part you should trim. Those ends of your hair are usually splitting and prone to dryness and breakage, so it\u2019s better to trim your hair to help it grow faster and healthier.\u00a0<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
