I know it can be hard to find products that actually work for coarse strands. Usually, the products are not moisturizing enough, too lightweight, and without strengthening benefits. That is why I\u2019m here to share with you a range of must-have products for coarse natural hair.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cleansers & Conditioners For Coarse Hair<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

You always want to start off with a clean base to ensure that your hair retains moisture until your next wash day. Squeaky<\/a> by Uncle Funky\u2019s Daughter is a must-have clarifying shampoo for coarse naturals. This deep cleansing shampoo is nutrient-rich and has stimulating properties such as tea tree oil. The kelp and willow bark help promote hair growth while deodorizing the hair and scalp. My hair feels immediately refreshed and I don\u2019t have to worry about any product build-up on my hair strands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is imperative that you incorporate a good deep conditioner into your hair regime. I was so thrilled when I first used the Heal & Renew<\/a> Intensive Hair Masque. My hair soaked it up and enjoyed every bit of the spa treatment it gave my tresses. Heal & Renew is a silk protein hair masque that can strengthen hair follicles and reduce breakage. It has a luxurious blend of peppermint and lavender essential oils which gives the scalp a tingling and relaxing experience. This is a must-have conditioner that will nourish your strands from the inside out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Must-Have Stylers<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

After cleansing and conditioning, it\u2019s time to moisturize and style. Uncle Funky\u2019s Daughter has a slew of stylers that work as a 2-in-1 because they leave your hair moisturized and your coils defined. As a natural with coarse hair, I find that lightweight products don\u2019t cut it for me, so I always go for thick creamy products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of my must-haves is Supercurl<\/a> or Extra Butter by Uncle Funky\u2019s Daughter. Both of these products are divine and my hair thanks me every time I use them. Supercurl is perfect for more defined styles with a touchable hold such as twist-outs, braid-outs, etc. This product also gives my coarse strands moisture thanks to the sweet almond oil and coconut oil. It locks in my coily styles and leaves it with a brilliant shine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Extra Butter<\/a> can be used for a multitude of hairstyles because of the softness it provides. It is a smooth, whipped butter-based forming creme that doesn’t leave a waxy build-up and actually penetrates the hair shaft. It\u2019s also rich in vitamins and fatty acids to help with hair growth and length retention, which is always a plus in my book! If I am looking for a fluffy, bouncy hairstyle, I will always opt for Extra Butter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
