When it comes to being a single mom of four and an entrepreneur one thing is for sure, organization is paramount. Ever since I became pregnant with my first son, I fell in love and knew being a mom was meant for me! Now, twelve years later I am a mom to four amazing and talented children and I couldn’t be happier! With four children there’s never a dull moment and on top of this I am living another dream; being an entrepreneur.

Through trial and error I have found a routine that not only keeps me organized but, also allows me to have time to take care of myself and glam up. My favorite mom tips are to fill out a calendar with what needs to be accomplished from simple errands to important dates. Establishing a visual list of what needs to be accomplished during the month takes the pressure off of me having to remember everything I need to do. I have found myself more productive because I can check everything off each day with satisfaction and not be frantic about running errands last minute.
Now that I have my motherly duties written down and organized, I have more time to dedicate to myself, my beauty, and healthcare routines. I found that by waking up early while my children are still sleeping, I can actually focus on myself. During my me time, I like to reflect on my life, past, present, and future while drinking a glass of water. I truly believe writing down your thoughts and goals on paper can truly manifest them into fruition which has actually happened to me many times, and I feel so blessed!

After I finish writing my thoughts I like to pamper myself with a little glam even if it’s a nice skin care routine or applying a pretty lip gloss and mascara to have me feeling my best. If I have more time I will fix a bowl of fruit and go on my computer to make sure I am up to date with all my projects and tasks for my business. I have a separate calendar for my entrepreneurial life to ensure I stay very productive and cross all my T’s and dot all my I’s.

Organization has really held my life together when juggling all the motherly duties of four while simultaneously balancing life as an entrepreneur. My advice for all my moms and mompreneurs is to draft a list of what needs to be done on a daily basis with your little ones and what you want and need to do for your business and to see them through- it makes a big difference when you accomplish everything you aspire on your list!
