Valentine’s Day is right around the corner, and love is in the air –– that includes love for yourself as well! Whether you have a hot date lined up with somebody special, or just want to take some time out to treat yourself on V-Day, looking and feeling good are always of the utmost importance. Here are some quick and easy ways to make sure your curls are on point for the occasion.
1. Give yourself some extra time: Whether you’re styling in the morning before work or at night before bed, make sure to set aside a little extra time to work with your hair, especially if you’re trying out a new style you’ve never attempted before. It can be frustrating trying to perfect a look for the first time –– and doubly frustrating trying to make it happen under a time constraint.
2. Do a test run: Don’t be afraid to debut your style a week or two early. This can be a good way to work out the kinks and make note of what you like and don’t like about your desired look, then adjust accordingly. You don’t even have to go anywhere fancy — maybe hit the grocery store, or video-chat a friend and ask them what they think. 3. If all else fails, go for what you know: Sometimes, experiments don’t work out. And that’s alright!
