2020 is the beginning of a new decade and I am so excited to get the year started! There is so much that I am excited about this year, so I thought I would share some of my goals with my Funky Family.
- Vision Board Time! — I was set on making a vision board for 2020. In the past, I had intentions on making one, but never did. This year, I chose to act on it, put everything on my vision board that I want to work towards accomplishing and I am so eager to get
started!
Ways to plan out your New Year - Planning! — You guys, I am terrible with planners, but since I discovered the Create and Cultivate planner, I am motivated now more than ever to stick to planning weekly to get things done. After all, planning and executing small goals will help me reach my big goals in the end.
- Fitness! — At the beginning of last year, I was so serious about my fitness goals and at some point I fell off from going to the gym. This year, my goal is to work out at least three times a week, which is nothing too crazy, but enough to meet and maintain my goals. Consistency is key!
- Hair! — Now that I have dyed my hair darker, one of my hair goals is just keeping up with my routine of deep conditioning my hair weekly. This is going to be imperative for me because another one of my goals will be to grow my hair to mid-back length. That means I have to keep the scissors away unless I am trimming the ends. Having healthy hair has always been important to me, and is my first priority versus retaining length (which explains my scissor happiness!).

Fresh new products for a new fresh year - Protective Styling! — I took a long break from protective styling last year and got back into it towards the end of July. Why did I ever stop?! It was so convenient for me towards the end of the year because as life got busy, the last thing I needed to worry about was doing my hair in the morning. I am looking forward to doing styles like spring twists, passion twists, faux locs, of course, box braids!
- Saving the Coins! — Last but definitely not least, I am working on saving as much as I can this year. I love to travel and I want to do more of it, so saving the coins is a must! I work hard, so it’s only right that I get to enjoy myself through a vacation at least once a year!
So that’s it, those are a few of my 2020 goals. Some goals will be easy to accomplish and others might take a little extra work, but I am up for the challenge!
