It’s cooling down, stores are selling pumpkin spice EVERYTHING, and we’re snacking on Halloween candy until we can’t anymore… These are signs it is definitely FALL. This also means 2018 is (unbelievably) about to come to a close. It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside to think about all the success and growth Uncle Funky’s Daughter has had over the course of this year, but the thing I feel most is GRATITUDE! This month we are starting off a period of thanks (stay tuned to our social media for more details)!
- My Family— My youngest daughter, Laura, started school this year, and I am really trying to figure out where the time has gone! As we scramble to figure out who’s hosting Thanksgiving in our family, details for holiday parties, and starting up Christmas shopping, my life is just non-stop! Everything I do is to light up my kids’ faces and work to be an example for them. My son and twin daughters are as active as ever, excelling in school and it is so pleasing to see them grow.
- The UFD Team — Uncle Funky’s Daughter has grown tremendously both in volume and its ability to expand, and I can’t do that without my wonderful in-house team and all the Foxy Mamas out there! Our team of Dynamite Divas really pushed through this year at all the trade shows in order for us to show up and show out! I am surrounded by exciting, hard-working people and I am so thankful for them!
- YOU! — Our Funky Junkies are the best part of this company. Your support is tremendous and inspires us every single day. Our team works as hard as they do because of your encouraging words, suggestions and your giving attitude, particularly during our Buy.Get.Give. campaign that ran all throughout the month of October! Thanks to your contributions, we were able to ship over 500 items to charities supporting breast cancer patients, survivors and research. You help make us successful!
We love that you are loving our products, and thank you for your business and support, now and in the future! - Our Partners — As I’ve mentioned before, UFD has seen a lot of growth, and I must note it is due to the expansion into several major retailers beginning earlier this year. Our new retail partners, including CVS, RiteAid and Walmart, plus our continued partnership with Target have made it possible for our customers to get their hands on our #GoodFunkyStuff. All of this is extremely exciting, humbling and motivating!
