Class is in session and we all want to slay the school season. When I apply Curly Magic to my type four hair (yes, it works on kinky hair also), I use a brush or defining comb and work it into small sections. I have found that the best way to keep the curls defined is to not touch the hair until it completely dries. Playing in your hair will disturb the curl pattern and cause frizz. Hence, the style won’t last as long, nor will it be as curly. The amount of product that you use is solely dependent on the thickness and porosity of your hair. I use one to two pumps per small section. If your hair is thinner in density or you have a looser curl pattern, use less product.
