The Curly Girl Method is a hair routine with guidelines that suggest (or dictate) the ingredients of the products you use on your hair. To follow this method, you will need to cut out sulfates and non-water soluble ingredients like silicones. Following the Curly Girl Method also promotes eliminating products that contain certain alcohols, brushing your hair, and using heat styling tools. All Uncle Funky’s Daughter products exclude sulfates from their formulas, very few products from our entire contain silicones or silicone by-products and none of our products include harmful alcohols.

If You Prefer to Shampoo:
As mentioned a little earlier, Uncle Funky’s Daughter excludes sulfates from all of our products, even our cleansers where sulfates are more likely present.
