I know it can be hard to find products that actually work for coarse strands. Usually, the products are not moisturizing enough, too lightweight, and without strengthening benefits. That is why I’m here to share with you a range of must-have products for coarse natural hair.
Cleansers & Conditioners For Coarse Hair
You always want to start off with a clean base to ensure that your hair retains moisture until your next wash day. Squeaky by Uncle Funky’s Daughter is a must-have clarifying shampoo for coarse naturals. This deep cleansing shampoo is nutrient-rich and has stimulating properties such as tea tree oil. The kelp and willow bark help promote hair growth while deodorizing the hair and scalp. My hair feels immediately refreshed and I don’t have to worry about any product build-up on my hair strands.
It is imperative that you incorporate a good deep conditioner into your hair regime. I was so thrilled when I first used the Heal & Renew Intensive Hair Masque. Supercurl is perfect for more defined styles with a touchable hold such as twist-outs, braid-outs, etc. This product also gives my coarse strands moisture thanks to the sweet almond oil and coconut oil. Extra Butter can be used for a multitude of hairstyles because of the softness it provides.
