Renee’s Corner: Why We Need Our Funky Junkies

Companies preach often about what they can do for their customers, and about how their product is the best out there… But how often is it that they voice how they appreciate and need awesome people like you? This is something our team at Uncle Funky’s Daughter prides itself on. It’s not always about bragging about what we can offer you, but enlightening you about how you help us each and every day!

A wise man once said, “Don’t try to tell the customer what [s]he wants.” This means with the range of choices customers have these days, the power is ultimately in consumers’ hands in terms of supply and demand! You have the power to determine how successful brands are!

I wanted to come on and chat about this because it’s important for us to touch base with our consumers on how we are keeping you first! UFD has a slew of upcoming events, and we want you to get the most out of them and our products! Your feedback and participation are crucial to us because those are the things that actually help US become more available to YOU! When you show up for us at in-store events, trade shows or anything of the like, those retailers or organizations see us by seeing YOU.

Speaking of events, we’ll be visiting several retailers this week alone, in addition to the Charleston Natural Hair Expo, the New Orleans Natural Hair Expo, the AfroPunk Festival in Brooklyn, and Beauty Con Los Angeles to name a few widespread events coming your way with plenty of Good Funky Stuff. We will be providing a range of incentives for you all to show our undying love and dedication, and welcome you to show up and show out!

We have been around for 10 years now, and are working diligently to get more UFD products onto more shelves and into more hands, and here’s how you can help:

• Check out the retailers on our Store Locator to find the nearest ones to you.
• Let store management and us know if there were any problems finding our products.
• Follow us on social media to stay updated on any new stores or additions to our list where you can find us!

I have said all of this to say, we need our Funky Junkies! You are a special, fundamental part of what we do here, and we want to have you as a part of this for as long as we exist.
